A family unit generally means a family member who is the applicant's spouse, de facto or the applicant's partner's under 23 years of age biological child, stepchild or adopted child that is dependant on the head of the family.

What is Migrating or accompanied member of the family Unit?

The member of the family unit who is migrating with the main applicant or is included in the Visa application.

What is Non-Migrating or not-accompanied member of the family Unit?

The member of the family unit who is not migrating with the main applicant or is not included in the Visa application.

Your family members can be:

  • Your current spouse or Partner, wife, De facto partner.
  • Your dependant children from current or previous marriages or relationships.
  • Your adoptive children if applicable.
